The Foundation regards the broad promotion of Katalin Forrai's educational work in Hungary and internationally, the preservation and renewal of Hungarian music education based on the Kodály concept, and the dissemination of our musical values as its primary goals.
To achieve these goals, the Foundation:
organises national and international conferences,
carries out activities related to music education,
organises continuing professional development in music education,
publishes materials dealing with music education,
announces calls and grants related to music education,
maintains contact with educational institutions and organisations in Hungary and abroad that work in music education,
supports the publication of materials and documents concerning the careers and works of Hungarian music educators,
brings together children and youth communities,
provides services for children and youth communities.
